Rodney “Mike” Hickman, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his residence following a two- year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Mike was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on August 14, 1949 the only child or the late Ogene and Margie (Adams) Hickman.
He was a graduate of Ashland High School class of 1967.
He was a mechanic with ODOT specializing in transmissions and was also a snow-plow driver, retiring following 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked with his friend Mike Imhoff, doing remodeling projects.
He was a member of the Gun Club, enjoyed Drag Racing, fishing and Kettle Ball exercising, which he also taught to some friends in his home.
On November 21, 1985 he was married to Fredine “Fritz” (Ritchey) who survives him. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and his faithful Golden Retriever “Taffy”, who was always by his side.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Imhoff officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Nankin Cemetery.
