Jackie Uselton, 67 of Ashland passed away on Monday evening, September 28, 2020 in University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born on October 2, 1952 in Blountsville, Alabama, the son of Leon and Effie (nee Kennedy) Uselton.
Jack graduated from South Central High School, Class of 1971. He married the former Sandy Summerton on October 13, 2000.
Jack has been employed for BCU as an electrician for more than 30 years.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He was a music lover who loved to play the guitar, but most of all spending time with his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed deeply by the ones who loved him best.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years, Mrs. Sandy Uselton of Ashland; two daughters, Amanda (Fred) Flores of Willard and Kayla (Jack) Broske of Elyria; two sons, Jason Uselton of Ashland and Brandon Wilson of Ashland; his mother, Effie Uselton of Ashland; ten grandchildren, Dakota Uselton, Payton Flores, Hailey Uselton, Payne Flores, Lauren Uselton, Anszley Wilson, Owen Uselton, Paxton Flores, Paelyn Wilson, and Ascher Broske; one sister, Barbara Ann (B.J.) Jones of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two brothers, Ben (Brenda) Uselton of Ashland, and Mark (Denise) Uselton of Ashland; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Leon Uselton who passed away on April 1, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church, 210 Davis Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Reverend Harry Strachan officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday, October 2, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ashland County Cancer Association, 1011 East Main Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
