Chad E. Hissong, 39 of West Salem passed away, Saturday, January 25, 2020 in Mansfield.
He was born on December 2, 1980 in Mansfield, Ohio to Gary Wayne Hissong and Debra Faye (nee Lawrentz).
Chad along with his brother founded the Detail Shop in October of 2019 and Hissong Home Improvement. He has been a licensed plumber for more than 15 years.
He is a member of the Ashland Eagles Aerie 2178 where he was an officer. Chad enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, camping, and dog races. Chad was an avid outdoorsman and a loving father, son, and brother who will be missed.
He is survived by his soon to be wife, Haleigh D. Riffel of West Salem; an expected daughter, Bexleigh Hissong in March; two sons, Michael and Broc Hissong; two daughters, Morgan Welch and Logan Potter; his mother, Debra (William) Prosser of Mansfield; his father, Gary (Debra) Hissong of Mansfield; six step siblings, Jeremy, Laura, and James Prosser, Sherry Lewis, Harold Boror, and Tracey Smith; one sister, Stacey Hissong of Mansfield; and one brother, Jason (Heather) Hissong of Mansfield; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Chad is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family and friends may visit, Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home. A brief ceremony and time of remembrance will be held in the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haleigh Riffel, 313 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 for future educational and support for Chad’s children.
