Linda L. Hanning, 63, of Ashland, passed away Monday morning December 23, 2019 at her residence following a long illness.

Linda was born in Ashland, Ohio on April 5, 1956 to the late Henry Fred and Donna J. (Bull) Wittman. She had been a resident of Ashland all her life and was a graduate of Mapleton High School class of 1974.
She was a former employee of the Council on Aging and was a homemaker.
Linda was a member of the Ashland Eagles Lodge 2178 and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1067 in Ashland. She enjoyed going to garage sales. She was a loving wife and mother who was concerned for the welfare of all young children.
On March 10, 2000 Linda was married to Glenn E. Hanning who survives her. She is also survived by her children, Kevin (Shannon) Hanning, Melissa Wittman, Kristi Hanning and Josh (Brittany) Wittman all of Ashland; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her sisters, Janet (Bill) Coffman, Deb J. Rickett and Sue (John) Barker all of Ashland; brothers, David E. (Linda) Wittman of Ashland, Gary Wittman of Polk, Tom L (Toni) Wittman of Ashland, Anthony F. (Karen) Wittman of Ashland, Bill W. Wittman of Jeromesville, Buddy L. Wittman of Ashland and Glen (Sandy) Wittman of Ashland along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday December 30, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Vermillion Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland County Cancer Association 1011 E. Main Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
