Rebekah Ann Hale, 25 of Ashland passed away, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born on February 14, 1994 in Mansfield, the daughter of Daniel R. and Tamara R. (nee Dorsey) Hale.
Becky is a 2012 graduate of Ohio Virtual Academy. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree of Art in Education from Ashland University in 2018.
She was employed at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center where she worked in the learning zone as an assistant. Becky was also a substitute teacher.
Becky enjoyed making ceramics, drawing pictures, and baking for her family. She loved working with children and helping with vacation bible school at Ashland Christian Church.
She leaves behind her father, Daniel R. Hale of Ashland; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Carol Hale of Ashland; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Shirley A. Dorsey of Akron; two sisters, Rachel E. Hale and Sarah L. Hale of Ashland; one brother, Edward D. Hale of Ashland; an uncle, Kenneth E. Jr. (Cynthia) Dorsey of Fairlawn; an aunt, Lynn Myers of Ashland; and several cousins.
Becky is preceded in death by her mother, Tamara R. Hale who passed away, November 27, 2012; her paternal grandfather, the Reverend Edward O. Hale; and her maternal grandfather, Kenneth E. Dorsey Sr.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Scot Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
