Brenda E. Knowlton, 70, of Ashland, passed away early Sunday morning, September 8, 2019 at her residence, following an extended illness.

She was born in Ashland on October 17, 1948 and was the daughter of Harley “Jake” and Lillian “Lilly” (Huff) Gray. She had been a resident of Ashland her entire lifetime.
She had been an employee of the F.E. Myers/Pentair Company for 34 years where she worked as a timekeeper and shipping clerk retiring in 2011. She was a member of the local International Association of Machinists.
On May 27, 1978 Brenda was married to Randy Knowlton who survives her. She is also survived by a daughter, Vicki (Ed) Maximovich of Polk; grandchildren, Breannon (Patrick) Keller, Kaylee Cox, Bruce Maximovich and Sarah Maximovich; great grandchildren, E.J., Erika, Harley and Jensen; her sister, Sandy Harvey and her best friend, Janet Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Lillian Gray, a granddaughter, Renee, a great granddaughter, Mia, and an infant brother and sister, Roger Gray and Betty Ann Gray.
The family will have a Celebration of Life and time of gathering for Brenda at the Ashland Eagles Lodge on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00 to8:00 p.m.
