Wendy "Winnie-Wen" Webb
April 27, 1977 - July 3, 2019

Wendy “Winnie-Wen” Webb, 42, of Concord, North Carolina, formerly of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born April 27, 1977 in Ashland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Terry Lynn Webb and Kimberly Lynn (Rice) VanBremen.

Wendy was an ornery person who loved to play practical jokes on anyone she could. When you were around her, you always had to pay close attention. There was never a dull moment when she was around and she had a knack for talking people into doing things. Wendy was all about family and friends and wanted to take care of everyone. She always gave second chances. A nature lover, Wendy enjoyed being outside, the beach and being around water. She always dreamt of winning the lottery and had plans to help everyone with the winnings.

She is survived by her fiancé, Mandy Pearce; her children, Samantha, Hayly and Emma; her brother, Randy Webb; her sisters, Trish Davis and Laurie Webb; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; her grandmother, Ruth Rice; her aunts, Tamie Steiner and Hope Grissom; her cousins, DeJay Webb, Cory (Shandi) Webb and Charity Rice; her “adopted” daughter, Amber Fritz; and her mother-in-law, Wendy Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Rice; two uncles, Ryan Steiner and Troy Rice; and a cousin, Dustin Webb.

You were always a true friend Wendy! My beautiful sister! My go to person to call when things weren't going right, and you always knew just what to say. It may not have been appropriate but you managed to make me feel better and smile- no matter what! I will miss our morning talks, jokes and pranks! Oh, the prank calls!!! :-) Let's not forget your crazy sayings! They will forever be embedded in my brain- you would probably tell me right now to "shut my pie hole"!!
Crazy girl - I love you and miss you dearly.

Wendy was a great women to call my friend. She was a good hearted , down to earth, kind and funny and smart and loving person. She was around you u never had a dull moment cause she would pull pranks on you and u wouldn't never see it coming either. I remember the day I came into work and she decided to tape everybag of my sunflowers seeds shut with shipping tape and then tape them together and 2 this day I'm still having to cut the few bags I have left open. It will never be the same with out her here but I know she is up in heaven having the time of her life . The last day I saw Wendy I went to see here on my day off and we had this conversation over the tea her words was this is better then Bojangles tea and just like jail house tea lol. I am really going to miss my friend that I have became close to. Please give my baby a kiss for me and tell her I love her and Wendy I will see u again one day. Fly high my friend and let them beautiful wings shine and continue to watch over all us. Love u ogwebster
