James Ferrell Jr. 81, of Sullivan, passed away Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2019 at his residence.

James was born in Seth, West Virginia on October 27, 1937 and was the son of James A. and Edna (McNeely) Ferrell.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He had worked at J&L Steel now LTV Steel in Cleveland, Ohio in the production planning office for over 25 years before he retired from the company.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling.
On December 17, 1959 he was married to Roseann H. Howell who survives him. Also surviving are his children, Julie (Brian) Lee of Mansfield; Patricia Ferrell of Sullivan; Cheryl (Bob) Berry of McConnelsville, Ohio; and James L. (Jennifer) Ferrell of Sullivan; five grandchildren, Brian (Kara) Lee, Matthew (Lyndsey) Lee and Nathan (Molly) Lee, Emma Ferrell and James D. Ferrell; and five great grandchildren with a sixth due this July.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Janet Lanyi and Barbara Williams.
