Randy L. Dull, 63 of Ashland passed away, Tuesday evening, March 12, 2019 in University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on March 21, 1955 to the late Melvin and Connanelle R. “Connie” (nee Shakley) Dull.
Randy graduated from Mapleton High School, Class of 1973.
He married the former, Linda Lee Roberts on July 12, 1986. Not only did he gain a wife but 3 daughters and later adopting his son.
Randy was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Harry Higgins Squadron Post 88 of Ashland. He had worked as a mechanic at Walmart for several years. He loved working on cars, Randy had always been very active in the lives of his 3 girls his son Gunner as well as his grandchildren Ashley, Takoda and Brody. From watching and coaching them through T-ball and softball to going to dreaded long days at horse shows. He was always there to support them and cheer them on through whatever it was they would want to do. He would often sneak in time to fish or hunt with the boys which he loved to do. From teaching them all he could about cars and loving the outdoors he tried to do what he could. Randy fought illness after illness for many years and stayed strong through it all never missing a beat. Though he missed holidays and birthdays due to being in the hospital, his family would wait to celebrate when he got home.
Randy is survived by three daughters, Laurie (Derek) Foster of Ashland, Candi (Jason) Weaver of Lakeville, and Misty Williams (Jeremy Hartong) of Sullivan; one son, Gunner Dull of Sullivan; three grandchildren, Ashley Finley, Takoda Weaver, and Brody Williams; three sisters, Carol Alexander of West Jefferson, Linda (Roger) Smith of Ashland, and Sue Bowersock of Ashland; and one brother, Ron (Mary Ann) Dull of Ashland.
In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Linda Dull on October 24, 2015.
A celebration of Randy’s life will take place June 15,2019 at 3pm at the Harry Higgins Post 88 of the American Legion, 1338 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, OH 44805.
