Ed Kemery, was born in Ashland and raised in the Nankin area. He was a 1972 graduate of Mapleton High School, attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science fall class of 1976. He is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland where he serves as an usher. He has served as a volunteer fire fighter with the Nankin Fire Dept., and served as secretary for the Nankin Fire Board.
He has been a volunteer with the Ashland County United Appeal, and served on the Ashland County Cancer Association Board. He has been a baseball coach with the Nankin Youth League, and is a member of the Young Men’s Business Club in Ashland and the Elks Lodge #1360 in Ashland.
He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association and the Ohio Embalmers Association. He and his wife, Bonnie, call home to Ashland and enjoy traveling and spending time with there three adult children Shay, Samantha, and Adam. Of course there family would not be complete without their eleven grandchildren, Derreck, Sydney, Bryce, Kendal, Madeline, Elyse, Michael, Emma, Brynn, Landon, and Clayton, and two great grandaughters, Hope and Faith.
